He was a chief retainer of daimyo Kagekatsu Uesugi, and Kanetsugu assisted his lord, Kagekatsu well. Kagekatsu also had complete trust in Kanetsugu.

返信削除I come from Yamagata, where Kanetugu Naoe flourished. However,I had not known him before he became the main character of the drama. Today, there are a lot of goods of him there. So I strongly recommend you to visit there once,if you are interested in him.
